Please join fellow League members at the State Capitol to advocate for the Ron Silverio/Heather Block End-of-Life Options Act, HB140 on May 19th from 1:00PM until 4:00PM (with the potential to extend to 6:00PM if there is a vote).  

We've been asked to fill Legislative Hall with supporters that day in order to make it evident to lawmakers where Delawareans stand on the issue of medical aid in dying. 

House Bill 140 is an act to amend Title 16 of the Delaware Colde Relating to End of Life Options.  This act permits a terminally ill individual who is an adult resident of Delaware to request and self-administer medication to end the individual's life in a humane and dignified manner if both the individual's attending physician and a consulting physician agree on the individual's diagnosis and prognosis and believe the individual has decision-making capacity, is making an informed decision, and is acting voluntarily.
