The Annual Meeting of the League of Women Voters of Sussex County, DE will be held on May 7th at 10 AM via Zoom.  All members are urged to attend. 

There will be a program on redistricting presented by the League's People Powered Fair Maps committee.  Denise Davis, Sandy Spence, and Kyra Hoffner, members of the League Redistricting Team, will explain the League's efforts to promote transparent and accountable redistricting processes in our state to end gerrymandering and ensure that all communities are represented.

The presentation will be followed by a business meeting during which the membership will approve our program, budget, and slate of nominees for the upcoming July 1,2021 through June 30, 2023 program year.  

The current president, Gwendolyn Miller, will present a synopsis of the previous years' accomplishments as well as a vision for the future.

Whereas, a  state of emergency exists  in the State of Delaware  arising out of the Covid-19 pandemic; and,
Whereas, Title 8 of the Delaware code authorizes the Board of Directors to adopt this emergency bylaw.
Resolved, that the LWVSCDE  Annual Meeting being held on May 7, 2021, be conducted by electronic transmission  through  the use of  Zoom, and that all voting required at the Annual Meeting shall be by electronic transmission."
