Join us on January 6th at 5 for an outdoor vigil.  The threat to our democracy did not end with the riot on Jan 6, 2021. On the one-year anniversary, this event is part of a national movement and call to action to protect our democracy.

The Unitarian Universalists of Southern Delaware will host an event for Sussex Countians, co-sponsored by Common Cause Delaware, the Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice, the League of Women Voters of Sussex County Delaware, Sierra Club Delaware Chapter, and others, to commemorate the events of a year ago and recommit to protecting our democracy.

For the vigil bring a light source (flashlight, glow stick, etc.) and a chair, if you cannot stand.

We will start at 5 p.m. outside by the sanctuary door, followed by a vigil on the front lawn.
