NewsAs per the Hawai`i County Charter, the Hawai`i County Redistricting Commission must hold at lest one public hearing in each of the nine council districts prior to completing a draft of the redistricting plan.
The Commission welcomes thoughts and testimony from the public at these hearings to help inform a redistricting plan that will establish the geographic boundaries of the County Council districts, which will be in place for the next ten years.
The official Notice of Public Hearings with dates, time and locations can be accessed here (PDF).
