From the Office of Elections' January 2024 Newsletter
1. Check your registration.
Make sure that your voter registration is current by checking online at elections.hawaii.gov or by calling (808) 453-VOTE (8683). Election officials rely on your current voter registration to know what ballot to assign you and where to send it. You can make updates to your residence and mailing addresses through the Online Voter Registration System.
2. Know the basics about voting by mail.
Here’s a rundown on your mail ballot:
- Automatically sent to your mailing address
- Arrives 18 days before Election Day
- Requires your signature to be counted
- Needs to be received by 7:00 PM on Election Day
