In THE WOMAN'S HOUR, journalist and author Elaine Weiss describes the battle of wits and intrigue that occurred in Nashville Tn, during the summer of 1920, when a group of women fighting for voting rights faced off against a group of antis,who were opposed to women voting.  They  lobbied the legislators of that state who were voting on ratification of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution - the amendment that protects the right of women to vote. Courage and ingenuity are revealed in this amazing real-life story.
