Here are some resources to review to get comfortable with how the LWV works. As you review these pages, you should get an idea of how you might like to use your very valuable volunteer time with the organization. The information can be overwhelming, so think of this page as an annotated Table of Contents of shortcuts explaing where you can find information for further exploration.

But the LWV also advocates on other issues, and the main webpage discusses how the LWV decides how and when to advocate on new issues.

You may be surprised to find the LWV taking positions on various political issues. The LWV is a nonpartisan organization, but what does nonpartisan mean to us as members of the League? Find that information here https://www.lwv.org/blog/remaining-nonpartisan-hyper-partisan-times

Because of the work we do, members may need to keep up with current events. Here are some good resources for that.
