Betty has been a member of the League for about twenty years. She spent her entire career at Hood College, where she was the chair of the Department of Mathematics. She also served on the board of the Mathematical Association of America as First Vice President and Chair of the Committee on Sections. She has enjoyed learning more about the League and its ties to LWV of Maryland and LWV of the National Capital Area.
