LWV MI says  "Urge your Senator to remove the ERA Amendment ratification deadline. The Equal Rights Amendment was first introduced in Congress 98 years ago and passed in Congress 49 years ago. It has been one year since the required 38 states ratified the amendment. It still needs to be added to the Constitution, but there is dispute over the ratification deadline The House removed the deadline on March 17th and now the Senate must do the same. The amendment says: "Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex."
