"We must have fair access to the ballot and all votes must count."  said our speaker, Diana Raimi, of counsel with the law firm of Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss PC .  She is a member of the American Civil Liberties Union and is part of the ACLU voter protection efforts.  Also participating in the discussion was Rena Basch, LWVAAA member and Township Clerk for Ann Arbor Township.  In that role Rena is responsible for elections and brought much on-the-ground experience to bear.
