The League of Women Voters has joined the ACLU-led Clerk engagement” project to help local Clerks handle increased voting resulting from the November 2018 passage of Prop 3, as well as pandemic measures to keep voters and poll workers safe.

LWV-AAA has reached out to Ypsilanti Township’s Clerk. They need poll workers, aka election inspectors, to work on November 3rd.

  • Hours will be perhaps as long as 6 a.m. to 1 a.m.
  • 3-5 hours of training will take place prior to Nov. 3.
  •  Pay is $13/hour.

The safety precautions that were taken impressed those who worked the August primary.
