Join us for our annual member meeting on May 25th. We will welcome Altana (Tane) West, of the Alice Paul Institute, who will tell us about the proposed ERA Amendment to the US Constitution - its history, status and prospects for ratification.
Then during our annual business meeting, we will approve a budget for the following fiscal year (beginning July 1), approve a slate of officers and directors (or nominate from the floor), approve bylaws changes, approve our program focus for the year, and approve last year’s minutes. Proposed bylaws changes will include changing our name to League of Women Voters of Washtenaw County.
Members will receive by email copies of documents to be voted on at least two weeks prior to the meeting.
Because of on-going Covid-19 restrictions, this will be an on-line meeting. Members may register to receive a link to join the meeting. The meeting will be streamed on Facebook and available to non-members who would like to attend but are not eligible to vote.
