A Saline Mayoral Candidate Forum with candidates Brian Marl and Michael McVey was held September 1st.

Hosted by Saline Main Street in collaboration with the LWV-WC, the forum was moderated Mary Dettling, Executive Director of Saline Main Street.

 

Candidates answered questions spanning the mayor's role, city growth versus small-town character, the nearby data center, the Mill Pond dam, the Davenport-Curtiss Mansion, and the Rec Center's finances.

 

Questions also addressed housing affordability, downtown vitality, traffic and pedestrian safety, regional partnerships, and how to keep residents informed and involved.
