For all members, new and otherwise who would like to become more involved, we highly encourage you to attend the upcoming orientation. Here you can get an overview of our chapter, and also learn about opportunities for getting involved.
The following are some examples of what we are doing:
- registering voters of all ages around Washtenaw County, at events hosted by the League or with one of our partner organizations
- educating voters on the voting rights laws resulting from Proposal
- recruiting poll workers
- hosting presentations for the community
- hosting candidate forums
- contacting candidates for our Vote411 website
- messaging on important topics through social media
