Public event by Interfaith Council for Peace & Justice

Washtenaw County is currently in the process of determining how many County Commissioners we should have and what the boundaries of those districts will be. But what does the county commission do anyway, and why does it matter how many commissioners we have? Join us for this quick county commission 101 session as we prepare to join the final public hearing on county apportionment that will begin at 6:30 pm. We will share some potential maps that were drawn to center racial and economic justice and we ask that you add your voice to the conversation as well.
