Dear EDITOR,

As many municipalities approach their local elections in April, the League of Women Voters in Dupage County would like to pause and acknowledge the outstanding work of the Dupage County Election Commission who successfully held a free, fair and safe election in the midst of historic turnout and complicated by Covid-19.

The November 3, 2020 election was the most ever cast in an election and DuPage was no exception.

Due to the restrictive language in the State Constitution, we need to amend the State Constitution language in order to update our election laws. Contact your state legislators today and ask them to support Early Voting and No-Excuse Absentee Voting!
