There are several important changes in ways to vote in the upcoming election. As a service to its members and Yolo County residents, the Adult Education Committee of Congregation Bet Haverim, Davis, is presenting a voting information session. On Sunday, September 6, 2020 at 2:00 p.m., Jesse Salinas, Yolo County Assessor / Clerk-Recorder / Chief Election Official will speak about voting procedures for national and state elections. Discussion will include changes regarding Vote by Mail (VBM), Ballot Drop Boxes, and Neighborhood Voter Assistance Centers (VAC). A question and answer period will follow.

The Indian Citizenship Act of 1924 granted citizenship to all “Indians born within the territorial limits of the United States” and marked a pivotal moment in Native American history.
