2020 Census Banner reads: In a Time of COVID-19 Connecticut Still Counts! Respond Today at 2020census.gov

The Census counts every person living in the U.S. and its territories. For the next 10 years, the 2020 Census will provide critical data used to allocate billions of dollars in federal funding to hospitals, fire departments, schools, roads, and other resources. The results will also determine the number of seats each state will have in the U.S. House of Representatives, and they are used to draw congressional and state legislative districts.
