As the U.S. Census nears announcing its final numbers, the League will begin year 2 of working on the People Powered Fair Maps (PPFM) initiative, which works on fair and honest redistricting.
On October 8, the League of Women Voters of the United States, along with LWV of Georgia, North Carolina, and Virginia hosted a discussion on the role systemic racism plays in silencing voters of color and how it’s shaped one of the most important processes for ensuring voters’ voices are heard.
