New citizens register to vote following naturalization

This week I had the opportunity to attend a naturalization ceremony and see LWV-Milwaukee County (LWV MC) volunteers in action as they helped new citizens register to vote in Wisconsin.

The League of Women Voters believes responsibility for redistricting preferably should be vested in an independent special commission, with membership that reflects the diversity of the unit government, including citizens at large, representatives of public interest groups, and members of minority groups.
