RHNA is the process to determine the number of housing units, at all income levels, that a jurisdiction is required to plan for under California law. The plan for RHNA allocation must be included in the “Housing Element” section of the local government’s General Plan, which is reviewed and approved by the California Department of Housing and Community Development. Thank you to all who responded to the rankings of the LWVFL 2021 legislative priorities. I know it is a tough decision to rank items that are all critical priorities.
In a recent debrief of the Proposition 15 campaign, LWVDV was particularly recognized for the resounding ‘yes’ vote from our Contra Costa County voters.
You may have heard of Susan B. Anthony, but have you heard of Nina Otero-Warren or Alice Paul? They, too, were prominent suffragists who fought for women's right to vote.
