2020 New York Primary

Voting Day letterboard with strip of "I VOTED" stickers draped over letterboard

In response to the many reported errors with Voter Information Cards received by New Castle residents, we have spoken to the Westchester Board of Elections.  They have informed us that there were technical errors in the mailing program they are using, and the errors have been fixed. Corrected cards are being sent out. The information on the Board of Elections website is correct.

June 23, 2020 is Election Day for Presidential, Congressional, State, and Local Primaries. Only voters enrolled in a political party that is having a primary may vote in the primary election on June 23rd.

You can cast your ballot by one of three different ways this voting cycle - absentee ballot, early voting, or Election Day voting. Please be aware that there are many changes to the usual processes due to COVID-19.
You may vote by absentee ballot. To vote by absentee ballot, you must first submit an application to request a ballot. All registered voters were mailed a ballot application, but if you have not received an absentee ballot request form, you can print an application here.  All registered voters are permitted to vote via absentee ballot for the June 23rd election using the "Temporary Illness or Disability" checkbox. You have until June 16th to mail your application to the Westchester County Board of Elections (must be postmarked by June 16th), or you can personally deliver the application no later than the day before the election.
Absentee ballots must be postmarked by June 23rd in order to be counted.
New York State now has an early voting period in which you can vote in person at a designated location prior to Election Day. For New Castle residents, you can vote in person between Saturday, June 13th and Sunday, June 21st at the Mt. Kisco Memorial Complex (1 Wallace Drive, Mt. Kisco, NY at Leonard Park).*
There are set times each day in which you can vote in person:
Saturday, June 13th: noon - 5pm
Sunday, June 14th: noon - 5pm
Monday, June 15th: 8am - 4pm
Tuesday, June 16th: noon - 8pm
Wednesday, June 17th: 8am - 4pm
Thursday, June 18th: noon - 8pm
Friday, June 19th: 8am - 4pm
Saturday, June 20th: noon - 5pm
Sunday, June 21st: noon - 5 pm

* If you are a New Castle resident, please be aware that a recent voter information card from the Board of Elections has an incorrect address for the Mt. Kisco Memorial Complex.

You may vote in person on June 23rd.  With COVID-19 putting strains on election workers and the implementation of early voting, your usual voting location might have changed for election day voting. You can find your updated primary election voting location here.
