2020 School and Library Elections

CHAPPAQUA SCHOOL AND LIBRARY BOARDS - JUNE 9, 2020 ELECTION

 

As per the Governor's most recent Executive Order, the deadline for receipt of absentee ballots for the vote on School and Library Budgets and races for two open seats on the CCSD Board and one seat on the Chappaqua Library Board has been extended to 5:00 pm on Tuesday, June 16th.
    • Ballots may be dropped off in the secure lockbox at the Education Center (66 Roaring Brook Road) until 5:00 pm on Tuesday June 9th. 
    • After that time, ballots may only be received by U.S. Mail until 5:00 pm on Tuesday, June 16th. The lockbox will be removed at 5:00 pm on June 9th.

Candidates for School Board are Jeffrey Mester, Joshua Shapiro, Jane Kimmel Shepardson (Incumbent), Deborah Smith, and Victoria Tipp (Incumbent).

Candidates for Library Board are Nishat Hydari, Andrew Rothlein, and Joshua Shapiro.

OSSINING SCHOOL AND LIBRARY BOARDS - JUNE 9, 2020 ELECTION

The vote on School and Library Budgets and races for three open seats on the OUFSD Board and two seats on the Ossining Public Library Board will be held on JUNE 9th. This election will be held by mail only, and all registered voters will receive a ballot by mail.
 
Candidates for school board are Roger Battacharia, Graig Galef, Lisa Rudley, and Frank Schnecker. Information about the candidates and the proposed budget can be found on the Ossining Union Free School District website: https://ossiningufsd.org/district/boe.
 

The election for seats on the Ossining Public Library Board is not contested: Information about the candidates can be found on the Library website: https://www.ossininglibrary.org.
