Although we devote much of our time planning major events in our life such as, weddings, and having a family, it is not unusual that we are reluctant to plan for the end of life.

The LWVNYS has four specific positions on health care.  After a careful study in 2018 the LWVNYS decided to support an option of medical aid in dying for the terminally ill.

Our educational meeting on Wednesday March 1st,  will review what this means and share what has happened in the NY Legislature over the past few years.  Click here for LWNYS positions.

Time: 11:45 am to order Lunch. Program  will start at 12:00

Presenter:  Dorothy Wrase Hares.  Dorothy is the Healthcare Advocate for the  LWV or Syracuse. She has worked as a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist for several decades in the 3 US states (Minnesota, Iowa and New York) and in Liberia, West Africa in acute care, intensive care and long-term care organizations.
