Topic: Good Jobs for Central New York
Speaker: Khadeejah Ahmad - (she/her) is an organizer with Jobs to Move America and
part of the CNY Good Jobs and Equitable Jobs Access Working Group.
With the tech company Micron expanding its industry to Central New York, Khadeejah
is working on a community benefits agreement that seeks to ensure Micron jobs will
meet the standard of a good job, including safe working conditions, living wages, and
equitable hiring practices, among other conditions.
