Topic: What is DEI? - A Discussion with CNY Rotarians
Rotary International  has a global DEI initiative and the local CNY Rotary Clubs have a committee that visits those clubs and does a presentation on the topic.

One of  Rotary's DEI Committee Co-Chairs is Cheryl Matt, the League's Events Director. She and Rotarian Jonathan Yost will present the Rotary's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion presentation to our LWV chapter. They will provide an introduction to diversity, equity and inclusion.

The presentation will include how we can talk about difficult things in a productive way so everyone feels comfortable sharing. There will be a review of definitions of terms and some action items to take away. Also, they will  cover how we can all do better moving forward and why embracing DEI is important to the future of any organization.
