May 7, 2022 to May 31, 2022Contact your State Senator and State Assemblymembers to urge them to advocate for New York’s legislative leaders to put both Elder Parole S15A/A8855 and Fair and Timely Parole S497A/4346 to the floor for a vote. We believe we have enough votes to pass this legislation, but only if we are able to get it to the floor!
Together, these bills will help to end the abuse and neglect of older adults languishing in prisons that are dangerously ill-equipped to meet their unique needs.
