Congratulations to League of Women Voters of the City of New York and the State League for winning Strengthening Democracy awards this weekend at our National Convention!

New York won for our work on early voting in 2019. We educated voters throughout the state online and by distributing more than 300,00 paper brochures on early voting all over New York State.

New York City won for their great work with Wiki Tounges on a Census Language Project to help get out the count in New York City using short videos promoting the census is multiple languages.
