Speaker: Jerry Lord, PhD
Partnership Specialist, NYRCC-U.S. Census
The presentation will cover the safety, ease and importance of the 2020 Census, while highlighting the crucial role the League can play to ensure that Utica gets the representation and resources it needs to thrive.
Census results help determine how billions of dollars in federal funding flow into states and communities each year. The results determine how many seats in Congress each state gets. The U.S. has counted it's population every 10 years since 1790.
The census can shape many different aspects of your community.
