SAVE YOUR SEAT ON THE BUS - Jan 9 2019 - Richmond

The Virginia Equal Rights Coalition and VA Ratify ERA groups are aiming to assemble 400+ people at the Capitol in Richmond on January 9, 2019, for the 400th anniversary of legislative deliberations in Virginia. ERA advocates from around the state will gather to welcome legislators on their first day back to work for the opening session, observe the Senate/House from the Capitol Gallery, and attend a Party for Parity afterwards. In other words, we are planning to create a presence that reminds legislators, all of whom will be on the ballot in November of 2019, that Virginians demand equal rights for every citizen. Furthermore, because activism should also be fun, I am inviting you to come along on a bus ride to Richmond!

We are chartering a bus to Richmond leaving on the morning of Wednesday, January 9, at approximately 8:00 a.m. from Springfield Plaza shopping center— over by the Kmart and Trader Joe’s side in Springfield --- and returning that evening at approximately 7:00 p.m. The cost of the ride, including taxes, tips, and tolls, is approximately $26.
