LWVB Annual Membership Meeting
Speaker: Rochelle Sherlock, Chair Solano County Commission for Women and Girls

This year’s Annual Membership meeting will be held on Thursday, May 16th at 7: 00 PM at the Camellia Tea Room. This is an important meeting and we encourage all members to attend. We will have a short but purposeful board meeting during which we will review and vote on our annual budget, receive brief reports from each of our standing committees, vote on our slate of officers. and we will consider a name change to reflect our expanding membership. We will need a quorum (30%) of our membership in order to complete our business.

All members will receive, via email, the annual membership packet in mid-April. It will include our proposed budget, a proposed local program for the ensuing year, our slate of officers, and information about other issues. Watch for this packet in your emails!!!

We are excited to have as our keynote speaker for the evening Rochelle Sherlock who is the
Chair of the Solano County Commission for Women and Girls. She will share with us the work that this new commission (established April 24th, 2018) is undertaking and ways that we might become involved in helping with this important work.

Maryellen Hayes, owner of the Camellia Tea Room, a charter member of the League of
Women Voters Benicia and our gracious hostess for the evening will be serving her delicious scones!

Looking forward to seeing everyone. All are welcome but only members will be able to vote.
