Hot Button Issues is a series of informational discussions about issues of interest or importance.  Guest panelists are political scientists from the University of Toledo, Jetsa Caseres and Jeffrey Broxmeyer, and Bowling Green State University, David Jackson.  They will discuss the history and evolution of the party system in the U.S. and globally; how the parties impact our democracy; and, how our government functions.  (Presented by LWV Toledo/Lucas County.  This is the final presentation for this year in the Hot Button Issues series.  Public Invited.  Free.  No registration required.)

Join 2026 Primary Candidates Allison Russo, Dr. Bryan Hambley, and Tom Pruss in an interactive forum on, What is the role of the Ohio Secretary of State.  Event sponsored by Trinity Episcopal Church and the League of Women Voters Toledo/Lucas County (LWVTLC).
