The League of Women Voters of Sussex County is participating in the Freeman Stage's Women's Celebration March, celebrating International Women's Day and the Centennial of the 19th Amendment ratification.

This celebratory march honors all women while celebrating a historic milestone.  It will take place on The Circle in Georgetown on March 8, 3PM.  The free event which is open to the public (adults and children) will commemorate the suffragists who marched for women to have the right to vote.

Join us in the fun and wear the colors of the suffragettes: white, purple and yellow. Feel free to bring a sign.  Stickers as well as sashes will be available. 

The LWVSC will be providing a voter registration table.
