The Cape Gazette published an article on the League of Women Voters of Delaware's celebration of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the LWV. 

The celebration was held on February 14th with a presentation and reception held at the Rehoboth Beach Historical Society Museum.  The featured speaker was Dr. Cynthia Newton, professor of political science at Wesley College in Dover. Her topic “From Civil Disobedience to the Ballot Box” centered on the history of the league and the suffrage movement.
