The Foreign Policy Association has announced Great Decisions topics for 2021. The topics are:

Global Supply Chains and National Security, Persian Gulf Security Issues, Brexit and the European Union, Struggles Over the Melting Artic, China’s Role in Africa, The Korean Peninsula, Roles of International Organizations in a Global Pandemic, and The End of Globalization?

 

Books are currently available for pre-order and will be delivered after January 6, 2021. We can purchase a class set of books at a discount if we have enough people who are interested.

 

The Foreign Policy Association website has announced that they will make the video presentations available on You Tube while meeting in large groups is not possible. It does not seem likely that we will be able to meet at the library this winter. We can read the Briefing Book, watch the video on our own, and then meet via Zoom for discussion of the issues.
