Join us as we host our annual special February meeting titled, “Love Your League: Bridging the Partisan Divide” virtually via ZOOM. The event will feature a presentation by Chuck Stone, J.D., Illinois Coordinator for Braver Angels and Madeline McCarren, PhD, Volunteer for Braver Angels.
Politics is tough. It always has been. American politics is competitive, thrilling, frustrating–and infuriating. The stakes are high. Issues are important. Outcomes matter. This is why we care, and should care, about our politics.
Braver Angels offers structured programs based on proven family therapy techniques to help each of us understand the other side's point of view-even if we don't agree with it. Their programs allow us to engage those with whom we disagree and look for common ground along with ways to work together to reduce the political divide among Americans. Braver Angels strives to unite “red” and “blue” Americans in a working alliance to depolarize America.
Start the new year out right with a thought-provoking evening learning from Braver Angels and the League of Women Voters of Roselle-Bloomingdale. This event is free and open to the public.
