All of us have moments of communication frustration across culture, gender and race. We can describe our frustrations, but we don’t always have the words to explain the patterns. Similarly, as women, sometimes our conversations with our sisters of different races and cultures can leave us feeling off kilter.

In this interactive workshop, you will learn about research on how and why males and female often communicate so differently. You will also gain insight into how differences in culture and race can improve same-gender communication. You won't want to miss this interactive event!

We warmly welcome Dr. Jaye Goosby-Smith back to be our speaker for this LWV Connects event. Dr. Smith is an Associate Professor of Leadership, Associate Professor of Management, and Assistant Provost for Diversity & Inclusion at The Citadel. She is also the Director of The Citadel's Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformation Center.
