Tracey Mackay

Tracey Mackay

Tracey Mackay is the Hudson's League president, elected in 2022.  Born in Bismarck North Dakota, Tracey has lived in Hudson for 22 years, longer than any other place she's lived. She and her husband, David, have 3 grown children and recently welcomed their first grandchild.  She joined the Hudson League in 2018 because she was "confused and concerned" about what was going on in the world. Her personal motto is "Step Up or Shut Up!" She says that League is a way to get involved and learn more about how government works. Now that she is LWV Hudson's president, she is following in her mother's footsteps, who was a LWV officer when Tracey was a child!

She recently served as an elected Director and was Chair of the Arming School Personnel Study for Ohio, which was a two year study.  She has also been involved in our Climate Change Workshops, registering voters and has participated in Civility and Diversity. Equity and Inclusion (DEI) training workshops.

As for her interests and hobbies, she loves to entertain and hang out with friends and family. She enjoys biking, walking, running, weight training, and occasionally dabbles in golf.
