Inge Orendt, our Vice President, joined the Hudson League in 2018, having realized that the only way to improve the world is to get people to vote! She has been on Hudson's LWV Board of Directors and is also the Communications Chair.
She has a B.A. from Kent State University in Communications and an M.A. from the University of Maryland in Training and Development. In her many professional roles, Inge has been of Manager of Training at Swagelok, Alltel and Babcock and Wilcox. She has been active in neighborhood associations, Toastmasters and the American Society for Training and Development. She, along with her husband, Joe, joined the Peace Corps when they were 60 years old and served in Indonesia for 2 years teaching English. They have lived in Hudson since 1989 and have two grown children who graduated from Hudson High School, and unfortunately, now live far, far away. Her son is in Maui and her daughter is in Salt Lake City. She is thrilled to have 2 grandchildren, (Finally!) Lucy and Teddy.
