What’s Happening in Falls Church with Climate Change, Stormwater, Tree Canopy, and More
LWVFC and the Citizens for a Better City are jointly sponsoring an update on environmental issues in our community. Our guest speaker will be Kate Walker, Environmental Programs Coordinator for the City of Falls Church. She will be discussing climate change, energy usage in buildings and transportation, stormwater management and the tree canopy. Kate will update us on actions that have been taken by the City and plans for the future.
She will be joined for a panel discussion by Tim Stevens, Past Chair, Environmental Sustainability Council.
