LWVNYS is joining PPESA, other Planned Parenthood affiliates from across NYS, the NYCLU, and the NIRH for the Rally for Equality in Albany on Tuesday, May 10. Join us for a rally at East Capitol Park and to meet with legislators to advocate for the NYS Equality Amendment - rain or shine!
The Equality Amendment is needed to protect people from discrimination based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, disability, and sex. This includes pregnancy and pregnancy outcomes, sexual orientation, or gender identity and expression.
Free bus transportation is provided by PPCWNY, with pick-up points TBD based on the level of interest in participating.
