Lunch & Learn with the League. Impact of Immigration Policies and Practice on Agriculture - James w. Bogart
This is an especially important topic for Monterey County and in particular to the Central Coast.

 

Mr. Bogart is the President and General Counsel of the Grower-Shipper Association of Central California, an agricultural trade association representing almost 400 growers, shippers, harvesters/packers, cold storage facilities and other business affiliated with the agricultural industry in the coastal counties of Monterey, Santa Cruz, San Benito, and Santa Clara. He is responsible for leading the Associations’ policy and issues management work in many diverse areas such as labor, water, food safety, crop protection, technology and innovation, nutrition and health, air quality, transportation and logistics, land use, and sustainability. He graduated from the University of Southern California in 1973, and earned his law degree in 1977 from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.
