Who: The League of Women Voters of Central Vermont (LWVCEN), a nonpartisan political organization encouraging informed and active participation in government and Kellogg Hubbard Library, Montpelier
What: Conversation on the First Amendment Freedom of Religion. Keynote speaker Rob Boston, Americans United for Separation of Church and State, will provide an overview of the fundamental principles of religious freedom, focusing on current court battles that test the scope and meaning of this constitutional principle and how it interacts with other core freedoms.

Biography
Rob Boston is the Director of Communications for Americans United for Separation of Church and State. Rob, who has worked at Americans United since 1987, also serves as editor of AU's Church & State magazine. Rob is the author of four books, most notably Why the Religious Right Is Wrong About Separation of Church and State (Prometheus Books, 1993; second edition, 2003) and Taking Liberties: Why Religious Freedom Doesn’t Give You The Right To Tell Other People What To Do (Prometheus Books, 2014). He has appeared on MSNBC, CNN and Fox News Channel and has been quoted by numerous print and online media outlets. He represents Americans United at speaking engagements around the country and internationally.
