LWVNC will prepare a Voters Guide for this election. Each candidate on the ballot was sent a form to supply personal information and to answer questions about their candidacy; the information supplied by the candidates, if any, is included in the Voters Guide. A copy of the LWVNC 2025 CCSD BOE and Library Board Voters Guide can be accessed here on April 29.
Candidate Forum
LWVNC will host a Candidate Forum on Monday, May 12 at 7 pm in the Assembly Room at Town of New Castle Town Hall to introduce the candidates for the CCSD BOE to community voters. Because the Library Board election is uncontested, there will be no candidate forum for that race.
This Forum will follow the hybrid format LWVNC has used successfully. Candidates will appear in person with community members able to attend in person in the New Castle Town Hall Assembly Room or via an NCCMC webinar. To ensure that all residents have equal opportunity to suggest questions and that as many questions of interest can be posed within available time, community members may submit questions in advance to be posed by the moderator. For more information or to submit a question by the May 8 deadline, visit this form . All questions must be submitted in advance, by Wednesday, May 8; there will be no questions from the floor at the event to ensure that all residents have equal access to have their topics of concern addressed.
In person attendance will be limited to Assembly Room capacity. Use this form to reserve a seat . To register to attend virtually, use this link:
The forum will be recorded and the link available here after May 12.
Budget
Voters will be asked to vote for or against both the Chappaqua Central School District's Annual Budget and the Chappaqua Library's Annual Budget.
More information about the CCSD proposed budgets can be found here - CCSD budget information.
