This election year, Sussex LWV is excited to be presenting several public forums featuring candidates in some of the most closely watched districts in the county -- as well as the first gubernatorial forum to be held in Sussex County! If you can't attend in person, you can watch a livestream on our YouTube channel. ASL Connections will provide sign language interpretation for all events. Watch this space to keep up to date on the events, the candidates -- and the many opportunities to help out! 

Each forum requires about 20 volunteers to help set up, staff the information table, register guests, manage questions, time the candidate responses, and more. If you are interested in volunteering, just check out our SignUp page.

• HR* DISTRICT 20 - Candidates: Stell Parker Selby (incumbent-D) vs. Dr. Nikki Miller (R). Date: 10/15, 7-8 pm. Location: Milton Elementary School
• GUBERNATORIAL - Candidates: Matt Meyer (D) vs. Michael Ramone (R) Date: 10/19, 6-7:30 pm. Location: Arts and Sciences Center, Delaware Technical Community College, Georgetown
• SS* DISTRICT 6 - Candidates: Russ Huxtable (Incumbent-D) vs. Kim Hoey Stevenson (R). Date: 10/22, 7-8 pm; Location: Lewes Elementary School
• SCC* DISTRICT 3 - Candidates: Mark Schaeffer (Incumbent-R) vs. Jane Gruenebaum (D). Date: 10/29, 6-7 pm; Location: Rehoboth Library
