LWVSCDE and Sussex Preservation Coalition present program on land use issues and voting at Sussex County Libraries

In late July, the Sussex County Library contacted LWVSCDE to request a presentation on government and voting for the upcoming election. This timely request turned into a joint project with the Sussex Preservation Coalition (SPC). Working with a framework originally drafted by Sussex 2030 and generously shared with us, we updated and expanded the presentation to include the latest information on elections, land use issues, registering to vote, and the VOTE411 and iVote websites. 

Speakers from the SPC and LWVSCDE are now bringing the presentation to Sussex libraries. If you can't attend or just want to revisit the program, slides and presenter notes are now available at this link. And here are the dates for the upcoming live presentations: 

  • Georgetown: October 7, 5:30 pm
  • Greenwood: October 9, 3:00 pm 
  • Laurel, October 24, 5:30 pm
