On Monday, July 14, 2025, at 7:00 P.M., at The Parish on Broadway, 730 Broadway, Utica, New York, 13502 (across from City Hall), New York State Senator James Sanders Jr. is coming to Utica to host a discussion meeting on reparations in New York State. This event was postponed from a couple of months ago, but this is the new date for this event.

 

Senator Sanders Jr. will educate community members on the NYS Reparations Commission, what reparations means for New York State, and get some feedback on reparations for NYS. This meeting is in partnership with Senator Sanders Jr.'s office, the NAACP Oneida County Branch, and the NYCLU/ACLU of New York.
