The landscape of the media matters now more than ever; propaganda, mis/dis- and malinformation have been elevated to the highest echelons of government in our nation. Deep fakes, false equivalencies, half-truths, and conspiracy theories cloud online content from social media to fringe internet news outlets. It’s imperative that voters are empowered and educated to glean the facts from news, discern the truth, stay curious to ask questions, and seek answers and accountability from those in power.
