How are the recently passed federal and state budgets going to impact you and our community? If you read the headlines, you may be confused! Some argue that NE Ohio is scoring millions in state budget earmarks while others claim that tax cuts for the rich will hurt the rest of the population. LWV of Hudson invites you to attend a presentation on Sept. 11, 6:30pm, where we will explore the budget cuts that are most concerning and how they impact you, your family, and our community--specifically Summit County.
You will hear from local leaders about the topics below and then join a roundtable discussions on one of the topics to ask questions of the speakers and other experts. You will also learn about volunteer opportunities and other forms of support.

- PUBLIC SAFETY, FIRE AND POLICE: Kandy Fatheree, Sheriff, Summit County
- FOOD SECURITY: David Freggario, Partner Relations Coordinator, Akron Canton Regional Foodbank
