Meet the Judges Who Are Running for Office

Meet the Judges who will appear on your ballot in the upcoming election at a Candidate Forum for Judges at the Main Branch of the Akron-Summit County Public library from 5:30pm to 7:30pm on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.  The library is at 60 High St, Akron OH and there is free parking next to the library. Registration is not required.

Candidates running for the following judicial offices have all been invited:

  • Summit County Common Pleas Court Judge
  • Summit County Juvenile Court Judge
  • Summit County Domestic Relations Court Judge
  • Summit County Probate Court Judge
  • 9th District Court of Appeals Judge

This forum will serve as an opportunity for candidates to share their visions with the community and for voters to learn more about each candidate. Candidates will answer questions from the audience.

Hosting the event are the League of Women Voters of the Akron Area, the League of Women Voters of Hudson, Akron NAACP, the National Pan-Hellenic Council of Greater Akron, and the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc.
